Do I have to engage in all of Vine Solutions services?

What kind of accounting does Vine Solutions do?

As a restaurant accounting firm, Vine specializes in accrual accounting to give you true costs for each financial period.

What kind of restaurants does Vine Solutions work with?

Vine Solutions services a range of clients, from small fast-casual to full-service fine dining experiences, single-unit operations to multi-unit groups.

Can Vine Solutions help me open my restaurant?

Yes, Vine can set you for up for success with a host of pre-opening services including HR toolkits, proformas, financial and operationsal systems set-up, and pre-opening accounting and bookeeping.

Does Vine Solutions do taxes?

For our clients we file sales, property, and local city payroll taxes on a quarterly basis. While we do not file Federal Tax returns we work closely with your CPA on documentation needed for year end taxes.

Do you accept clients that are currently on Quickbooks?

Yes, we bring clients on board from a variety of accounting platforms and are experts at transitioning and implementing you on to our systems.

Will I have acccess to my historical data?

Depending on how much detail you would like, Vine can do a historical reconstruction of past data for year-by-year comparisons.

What is the timeline for coming on board with Vine?

Generally, after we send you a proposal, agree upon pricing and services and sign a contract, it takes 6-8 weeks to create budgets, set up and transition systems, and verify that everything is accurate and working correctly before we go "live." For example, a client who would like to be "live" in July (period 7) should contact Vine Solutions in April to get implemented in May/June.

Does Vine do payroll?

Yes. We work with ADP as our exclusive payroll partner. Because of this relationship we offer the most competitive rates in the market and have a dedicated ADP support line that expedites service to our clients.

Can someone look at what I am currently doing and tell me if it is right?

Yes. Our advisor team can look at your financials and give you an idea if there is opportunity for improvement in systems or operations and our HR team can review your current practices to ensure you are compliant.

Do you have recommended partners ie. CPA firms, attorneys etc?

We work with many different industry leaders and are happy to connect our clients with our preferred partners.

How do you get all of my POS information?

We work with our partner, Compeat Radar, a restaurant management platform that imports sales and labor data from your POS system.

Do you do ad hoc consulting projects?

Yes. Our advisory team is well versed in operations and financial evaluations. We can do anything from a simple financial review to a proforma or a valuation. In addition, our HR professionals can assist with a number of HR projects like creating handbooks and on-site training.
